Role Summary
A high profile opportunity exists for a Credit Technology expert to join Markit Group to lead the development and strategic technology direction of Markit’s efforts in the Credit space.
Markit has a diverse and rapidly growing suite of products and services. Credit products are an area of particularly strong growth and represent many unique challenges and opportunities.
Duties and Accountabilities
- Responsible for managing current development teams and projects along with recruiting for future products
- Must be very comfortable working with senior management and executives on setting product strategy and priorities
- Will set the pace for new product deliverables
- Assist in driving the strategic direction for Markit’s Credit business.
Business Competencies
- Deep Credit Derivatives product expertise and knowledge of the Credit markets
- Solid, demonstrable experience in leading software development projects
- Proven development team leadership history and skills
- Demonstrable history of building working relationships while managing deliverables and projects among diverse teams
- Proven project delivery and execution
Personal Competencies
- Must have the necessary leadership, communication and relationship skills to interface with developers, senior executives and product heads.
- Must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in delivering complex development projects to tight deadlines within a commercial organization - ideally within the financial marketplace.
