Role Summary

We are looking for self-driven individuals with great problem solving and analytical skills to fill several open client associate positions. The open positions are within our Client Services and Client Onboarding groups with responsibilities to assist our clients in implementing Markit services. The positions will be based in Minato-Ku, Tokyo.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Manage client implementation projects until clients are up and running live, when necessary liaising with sales, product, and development teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support in sales
  • Monitoring client query queues, diagnosing and resolving any resulting exceptions or errors and working with internal groups to provide resolution
  • Responding to clients’ requests by providing detailed analysis and feedback
  • Schedule and conduct client training training as required

Business Competencies

  • Education and experience: advanced Excel skills, knowledge of VBA and SQL and experience of working closely with IT is beneficial
  • Commercial awareness: strong problem solving skills, able to meet tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, knowledge of financial markets and OTC derivatives is a major plus

    Personal Competencies

    • Personal impact: able to inspire confidence with clients, self-starter who can “own” projects and work independently when needed, customer service and satisfaction are key priorities for the firm. Candidates must be aware of the impact of their actions on internal and external clients
    • Communication: must be fluent in English
